Finca Alta Cocina has delightful views and is set in six acres – including its own side of a mountain with masses of olive trees,  plus some almond, fig and cork oak trees.

You will find wild garlic, wild rosemary and wild fennel on the mountain with many types of wild flowers. If you feel energetic you can climb the mountain (it’s not too high!) for a panoramic view of the countryside and surrounding mountains. You can always cool off  in our 12 x 6-metre pool.

Finca Alta Cocina’s cookery lessons offer a magnificent collection of Spanish and Mediterranean recipes prepared with fresh local ingredients, some grown in our own garden.

Cookery classes are restricted to a maximum of six people so everyone gets total hands-on experience. If a group of four to six people join us for a  cookery course, they can help choose what their classes feature.

Quality and style are the hallmark of Finca Alta Cocina, which is run by chef Ewa and her partner William, who together ran Crispin’s, an acclaimed country restaurant in Essex, for many years.

Finca Alta Cocina comprises two buildings – one old, one new. A state of the art kitchen and a roof terrace have been added to the old finca. The new building is a few steps along the terrace, and has five en-suite double rooms – four with their own balcony – and a guest lounge.
